An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. How long we retain your data

We keep contact form entries for six months, analytics records for one year and customer purchase records for ten years.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

You have the right to make amendments to your data, to delete data and to review the information that we hold about you. If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Visitor comments may also be checked through an automated spam detection service.


To prevent data breaches, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we operate appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

As required by the Data Protection Act 1998, we follow strict security procedures and take appropriate measures to ensure that the information about you is not disclosed to a third party without your permission and to prevent unauthorised access to it. The servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure data centre.
